One of the most common study abroad destinations for students across the globe is Australia, and a huge share of the income of the Australian government comes from its foreign students. Australia has long been a favorite study destination for students due to its high quality of education, its education being highly recognized over the world, and also for its state of the art and vibrant living conditions. To lift their education sector, university rankings, to attract more great minds, and to help students to study and achieve their dreams Australian Universities and the Australian Government has been working towards the prosperity of the education sector in Australia by providing a huge number of scholarships and waivers to deserving candidates.
The most prestigious and fulfilling scholarship to study in Australia is the AUSTRALIA AWARDS (https://www.dfat.gov.au/people-to-people/australia-awards/australia-awards-scholarships), which is funded by the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) and provides full tuition fees, airfare, living expenses, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and other allied expenses for two years to meritorious students from developing countries to pursue their UG/PG program at participating universities in Australia and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. The only condition is that the recipients of this scholarship must return to their home nation after the completion of their studies. For Postgraduate research, the Australian government has its RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM (RTP) scholarship that also provides full tuition fees, living expenses, OSHC for the duration of the study.
Other than full scholarships there are several government-funded partial scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students such as Destination Australia Program (DAP). DAP provides over 1000 scholarships each year to support both domestic and international students studying at regional campus locations in qualifications from a Certification IV level and above.
